Chicago, IL - After a three year wait following their "Courageous Rue E.P.", modern rock band Courageous Rue is back with a collection of new music entitled "RueTape 2010" on March 31st, 2010. The collection features a barrage of different musical styles ranging from traditional modern rock to acoustic pop to electronica to classic hip-hop.

The entire collection will be available via Courageous Rue's website for digital download through a partnership with BandCamp.com. Fans will be able to "name their price" for the music; all of the music will be free if the fan chooses or they can choose to pay something as a token of appreciation to the band. The songs will be available in the following DRM-free formats: 320kbps VBR mp3, Ogg Vorbis, Apple Lossless, FLAC and AAC(aka .m4a or iTunes store format).

Courageous Rue is a musical project led by Nelson Velazquez which explores many styles of music.  In the studio, Nelson is an multi-instrumentalist by handling bass, guitar, keyboard, horn, programming, and vocal duties while including the musicianship of other musicians on other instruments.  The Rue's current show dates include both live performances in traditional music venues as well as online streaming showcases via ustream.tv.
